There have been far too many things in my life that have happened well for me to ever say anything bad has truly happened but failure is something I can't deny I am accustomed to.
Seventh grade I was told that my learning of Hebrew fell far below the expectations of that of any soon to be Bar Mitzvah and that I should not read from the Torah upon my Bar Mitzvah.
Eighth grade I went out for the football team and spent more time on the sidelines than anyone else on the team.
Ninth grade I lasted less than a week on the wrestling team.
Tenth grade I completed two years of Spanish, after four years in the class.
Junior year I was told by my English teacher/cross country coach that he was amazed I managed to beat a million other sperm to the egg.
Senior year I was literally booed off stage for my comedy skit. Apparently if you want to tell the "that dog will bite you" joke the crowd has to be just right.
Freshman year of college I was turned down by the first girl I asked to a date function. As well as the second, the third, and the fourth...
Sophomore year of college I tried out to be an actor and was told that I was not qualified because I was "too ugly."
Junior year of College I received several rejections from various law schools.
My first year of law school I studied harder than ever before and then found out that my grades were average at best.
My second of year law school I received hundreds of rejections for various internships.
My third year of law school I graduated, without honors, and without a job.
My first year after law school I took the FL bar and found out...things may finally be starting to turn around for me.
love it
