Attention Law Students: just say no...to Barbri

By the time most people have earned their JD they have spent three years in law school and four years in undergraduate. This would mean that most JD's are at least seven years old. It is fairly safe to suspect that a seven year old is able to read and do a few multiple choice questions without spending $3,000 to have someone hold their hand and tell them when to study, what a book says, and how to write a few short essays.

In short Barbri is a waste of time and money. Barbri plays on the fears of recent law school graduates that the only way they will pass the bar is to show up to another few months of class and study based on Barbri's 120 hour work week schedule.

Here is all you need to do to pass the bar.

1. Buy a book that covers the material on the bar. They sell on Amazon.com for under $100.

2. Read the book.

3. Do some practice multiple choices.

4. Read a few practice essays, outline an answer, read their answer.

5. Take a nap. Sleep is important to memory.

Seriously it takes 4-5 hours a day of studying from the time you graduate until the bar exam to prepare yourself.
